Our purpose is to promote the art and tradition of quilting by:
- Educating our members through, but not limited to, workshops, lectures, demonstrations and classes
- Supporting local charities with donated quilts, quilt related items and/or monetary contributions
- Sharing the beauty and pleasures of quilting with the community
Welcome to the Gate City Quilt Guild!
We are a friendly and committed group of quiltmakers in the piedmont North Carolina area. The best way to get to know us is to come to one of our meetings. You'll be warmly welcomed and pleasantly surprised by the quality of our programs and the friendliness of our members. Whether you are a long time quiltmaker or a newcomer to quilting, we'd love to have you join us.
We typically meet on the first Thursday of the month. At present we meet at 7:30 PM for some social time, followed by a short business meeting, show and tell, and a monthly program.
